Good luck, boy don't we sound like a bunch of old geezers. Most of us have had shoulder surgery, and all of us would like to see a picture of Sara

my shoulder carving is still in the future and I am still running with the last picture posted of Sara which was a good while ago.....

    Sara's a little camera shy, at least if the pic is gonna' be on the internet. However, I'm gonna' try for you guys. Thanks for all the pm's and thoughts, surgery is actually Monday. I hoped to work the spring cows, preg, worm etc., Monday, but looks like it'll be later. Gotta' a neighbor gonna' chore.
You know, though, I ain't got it so bad. One or two weeks and I'll be able to be back at work bossin'. Got enough money in the bank, thanks to a really good year, to run for several months.
Sara just called, she is sick today. We're putting in 2200' of waterline and two waterers for a customer and trying to get it done this week. She's out, so I gotta' figure out how to pour cement, slide gasketed pipe together, work in a 3' diameter well off a ladder, and do the electric work, all by myself with one arm. Maybe I do got it tough. Better see if I can find a couple of Mexicans for today. gs

Well, I'm alive, typin' with one hand. First surgon couldn't fix. 2 surgeries in 6 days. Not impressed with how my wife took care of me. First day I sat on the pot and yelled, "Sheryl, I need you." Heard her mumble, "What the fuk now." She came in and said, "What." I said, "I'm done, Honey."When I handed her the TP roll, she said something about a sick sob, and walked out.
I am a machine to stretch my shoulder, have to do it 4 hours a day for 6 weeks. Ever tried to sit in one place that long? Struggling with that. gs

Dang...guess the surgery couldn't fix your sense of humor. Sure hope it fixed the shoulder though. I gotta use my lady arm to grab my right elbow to buckle a dang seatbelt.
Hope you heal up good and stick with your pt

Been a year ago today that I had mine done....as I said before it didn't take and is re-torn...but in the last month or so I seem to be seeing a great deal of improvement....not sure what that is attributed to but I'm now able to put my elbow out shoulder high while tucking my hand by my chin then unfold my arm above my head and hold it for a few seconds.

So I guess you shouldn't get discouraged to early....may take longer to recoup than expected.

best wishes on the rehab.....

I didn't know they were gonna do both arms causing the need for TP assistance.

I broke enough hand bones to learn to be ambidextrous about some things.....
