I have chopped some corn silage (droughty)that tested 70%ndf,40%adf. The energy levels are simular to good corn silage.How much of this can I use in finishing rations?
The 40% adf seems high. If you use grain for the rest of the ration, I would think you could use up to 50% silage. Make sure your protien and mineral requirements are met.
