Dang! I missed that one.

Ever heard of CALM handling?? Yes, you shouldn't have chased the crap out of this calf, just let him be, coax/bribe him back in with feed, anything that avoided chasing. And even better, not push it so hard that you made it run to freakin' death!
I'm resisting the urge to call you something I'm probably going to regret when this thread is let go... :bang: :hide: :x

You're not mistaken, it was me and my family that did that. Why do you ask?Workinonit Farm":3hjzdvo3 said:IluvABbeef":3hjzdvo3 said:Yeah...I guess four years of university didn't help in this situation...
Am I mistaken or wasn't it you and, who at one time, your family that raised feeders?
I seem to recall a bunch of posts from a bunch of years ago that you made with regards to feeder calves.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Because several of the posts in this thread are giving you flack about not "personally owning" cattle (which may be true at this particular date in time) and therefore insinuating that you have no cattle knowledge, which isn't true at all.
So, I just wanted to be sure I had my facts straight before I made any comments in your defense that you do indeed have experience and knowledge in the field of cattle. Because some of the newer members may not be aware of this.
That's why.
