Been trying to sharpen some ralgro needles. I gave up and ordered some new ones tonight. At .80 each and 6 to the pack that may be the last ones I need.

Spent $5 on new needles!!! Outrageous, ya should have bought a Tungsten needle grinder $450 pays for itself in no time. :)
You should have seen me trying to sharpen the old ones on a whet rock. Lol
The oldest ones probably weren't over 30 years old. Things just don't last long anymore.

Sharpen a Ralgro needle!?!? If the old one is 30yrs old it's probably just getting safe to use. Lol
I swear they make scalpels seem dull.
The first thing I do when I finally have to replace a needle is find a wood post and stick it multiple times to take some of that razor edge off.

Might be cheaper to buy some weights and strengthen those arms so you can push harder.
