I used to drink coffee with one tsp of sugar, but I began to get a headache and almost a high, kind of a slight buzz
So I quit it for awhile and then thinking it was the sugar giving me the problem I began to drink it black, but I'm still getting the buzz feel and a hangover type headache a couple hours afterwards and kind of a sinking spell.
I've never noticed it until recently and it seems when the coffee is strong or been sitting in the coffee pot for a long time

That make any sense as why that would be ?

Caffeine constricts blood vessels you should see your doctor.
Better than laying in an old folks home with slobber running out your mouth waiting on someone to wipe your butt.

Why would the constricted blood vessels be a problem (seriously I aint being ignorant on purpose)

What kind of coffee? Are you dehydrated?

McDonalds, stripes, 7-11 and etc
I don't think I'm dehydrated

I am serious see a Dr. my dad started having the same symptoms as you described that went to black outs.
Had seriously plugged carotid and caffeine caused constriction.

You need to take him serious Shanghai. He's not kidding with you are just trying to mess with you by putting a little scare in you. I bet you've drank coffee for years without this happening. Something changed and it wasn't the coffee.

Shanghai has never had a physical or any blood work done in his life! He is way over due for a prostate exam also! I told him weeks ago that he needed to see a doctor! Stuburn ole coot!! :?

Seriously--Yes, see the doc. The caffeine may be uping your heart rate and BP too.
Not so seriously--or maybe so, I recommend one like Dr. Gregory House.

Blood work and physical is a good idea. The prostate exam is nothing but looking for trouble. My thinking is I don't want to know if I have prostate cancer. I feel a good diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables is the best cure. Cancer doctors are a rip off, nothing but thieves. IMO.

Maybe, but their chemo put my sister's lymphoma into remission 3-4 years ago and she's still kicking pretty high today.
(she's been a "mostly" vegetarian for about 50 of her 71 years.)

I will tell you this I have heart rhythm issues A-FIB and dr told me DO NOT DRINK CAFFEINE. The reason I found out I had heart issues was when I was coughing I would black out because I wasn't getting the oxygen to my brain that I needed. The main dr I used thought I had bronchitis so treated me for that big mistake the inhaler sped my heart up and intensified things and made them worse. Little tell tell things are your warning something bigger is coming about. As mentioned before go to a Dr. and if you do make sure the Dr. is a young Dr. if you have one available.

All the doctors are busy treating the scammers trying to get pain medication or disability
Do you have a family doctor? May have to set an appointment several months in advance but make an appointment for blood work, etc. and follow up with a good checkup. Sounds like this might be the time for that "ounce of prevention". Best wishes and hope all goes well.

I had a really good one. He quit private practice. Tired of fighting Medicaid and paying malpractice insurance. Now he works two days a week in the hospital ER and earns more. Plays with cows the rest of the week.
