The closer we get to deer season, the more we'll hear/feel tannerite explosions. And if you're outside at the time, if its real quiet, you'll hear laughing.... One time we went to a 'important person" place out here for a party. He owns over 10,000 acres and has a very impressive outfit that I in no way have any jealousy towards. Its spectacular and i'm very very happy for them even though we'll never ever have what they accomplished. I love when they take us around and show it off... It takes us 30 min to get to his gate and about 45min to get into his compound. Anywho, I was inside with his wife chatting. The guys all disappeared outside and were real quiet. They set off some tannerite that almost blew out the windows. When we got home, I checked FB and all the comments from all around were, What was that explosion?? They should have been standing near it. If anyone listened, they would have heard the laughter afterwards....but not mine, I couldn't hear for a while...

Ok, lemme get this straight, Thursday your hubby was shopping for NV stuff, but he couldn't make up his mind what he wanted, scope??? handheld??? which one uses the most batteries??? blah, blah. And now it's been delivered and in stock at the Funny Farm on Saturday morning. You are so full of :bs: . Do you answer yourself when these voices talk to you?

Speaking of what goes bump in the night. Do any of you get phantom explosions at night. I do and recently found out it's a real thing. I've always been awaken by loud crashes to find nothing. So weird how our brain works.

Yes . There's probably a dozen limestone quarry's in a 15 mile radius. When it rains they blast all night long.

Why blast all night? They could just come to your place and scoop it up.

They came out once to see about buying the rock out from under us. I told em my cattle gain weight on those rocks

I don't think anyone knows what a liberal or conservative is. I observe both those groups to now be extremist.

Regarding the contest, this is a circumstance where I think our current leader is correct. Nk must understand what the consequences are. Even a wisper of a threat needs a response. Based on what little information is publically available that is about all that can be said unless you are wired into classified information and internal briefings.

I've always figured it must take about 45 miles as the crow flies for the boys to reach the sound barrier.

Just wait till they figure out the best way to tax pot and legalize it. People will be so laid back they'll have to drop the speed limit on the interstate to 45 mph for a high and 20 for the minimum.

Actually what has happened in our area is there was no spike in the fall calf sales and since, its held steady here. You can pull up Cattlemans in paris sale tickets and see. I'd be very disappointed if I had a great fall calf crop this past selling season... Sale barns are now just picking up with the spring crop. We just watch the market and decide. Although, this year, we have a few buyers numbers. This may just be the year we bypass the sale barn.. We'll have a couple pot loads of black steers with the option to give the buyer to choose how he wants them before he picks them up..Well see how that plays out.
