Anyone here revamping their stockpile of things with the current state of affairs?
Our canned goods store is low, so i'll be canning for the next few days, weeks....however long it takes. I like canning meals ready to eat.
Went to Walmart yesterday and I wasn't the only one buying to stockpile...
What do you feel is the most important thing to stockpile?

For me ammo. I have enough food stocked up, cattle, deers etc. if the SHTF I could probably hold out for years. You ought to see my shelves, hundreds of quarts of food canned that will last for years.

I may even have enough ammo as I have at least 20 bricks of .22 , plenty of .223, .308, 30-30, 30-06, 9mm, .22 mag my favorite, etc. etc. etc.

Also there is three caves within a couple hundred yards of my house and two of them I maybe the only person who knows about them as they are almost impossible to find/see. Also a river is just below my house, maybe a couple hundred yards, that has a lot of fish. Plenty of easy trapping close the river with the cliffs/bluffs as I can set a trap and most of the time I have something by morning.

We are not short on canned food and the garden is just now starting to produce so I am sure we will put up more.

With the house up for sale we started moving some things to our place in central Washington. Stuff we are definitely keeping but don't need right now. A couple days ago I realized that all the ammo for the high power rifles got moved. The guns are here and the ammo is 200 miles away. I have about a dozen bricks of 22 and a couple boxes of shotgun ammo. Yesterday I was cleaning out an old foot locker and found 2 boxes of 30-30. But no ammo for the 243, 7x57, 30-06, or 300 mag. Next trip over there I need bring a few boxes back.

It may be silly but I have several 5 gallon buckets of beans and rice in Mylar bags

What do you do about medicine?

You die. Seriously, the folks that rely on the medical community are going to be hit the hardest the quickest in the event of something like this.

I know some of you are huge Trump supporters, but this urination battle with North Korea is pretty intense. I'm not sure there's a better way to handle it, but I know Twitter is not it. I can see a scenario where that it's Us, Canada, most of Europe, Australia and a few others vs. Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. Whoever gets India wins b/c they have a HUGE military and a decent nuke arsenal.

We had diesel delivered yesterday. My husband wants some night vision dohickies and has been shopping around for what he's wanting. He's been stocking up on ammo and reloading things for a long time. He hit every tire place and collected their buckets of lead for years.
My job is food. A about a month ago I bought a butt load of tattler lids for canning. I've been collecting jars for a long time also. But i'm the only one in the family who cans and has canning supplies. So, not sure how far it will go around..
If my honey harvest were better this year we'd have more mead percolating. It could be the next form of trade...
We really wanted to get solar panels, but, just haven't gotten around to it.

I checked I got 17 beers

I've got 9 bottles of wine. That should make a couple days at least.

I have two bottles of wine and one of whiskey....... good thing I quit drinking 25 years ago.

How would you go about rationing 17 beers.

1 a day

Begin fairly rapid drinking on news of inbound nukes.

All 17 through a funnel on impact.
