I bought a mixture of clover seed that consisted of armadillo burr,crimson,yellow blossom and arrow leaf from Turner Seed up in Breckinridge. I slung it out with my little seeder that hangs on the tailgate of my kawasaki mule, then i drilled 80lbs of oats per acre and pulled a big pipe drag behind the grain drill. Now I just need a good rain.

Got 1 good solid inch of rain that started on Thursday and was off an on until this evening about 5 it all soaked into the ground (mostly a good solid drizzle). My clover that i planted last Saturday has already sprouted in a few spots where there was a little moisture when i planted it. I am anxious to see what the oats/clover mix looks like in about 10 days.

I would think that Clover will get up and going when the temps drop some more. I'm south of you and finally getting some much needed rain to fill up some of the wide cracks around. I'll get some Clover into my dirt eventually. Good luck with your project.
