In my opinion those truckers drive way to fast for the conditions.
I had a Nissan car hit the back of a disk when I was going tdown the road. There was a spacer and disks and some other parts in the passenger seat and back seat. Her hood and the two passenger doors were skinned like that. She never hit the brakes. Pushed the tractor and disk about 80yds down the down the road with the tractor leaving black marks before she went across the lane to one ditch and I went to the other.
I had a case where a truck, traveling in the same direction, peeled the side off of a whole tour bus like that.
