Ran across something that caught me off guard. Maybe I'm all wrong about this.

I read and article that also said many were born with a platinum spoon in their mouths. Misguided, naive, ignorant and looking for some purpose for their lives. Shame they haven't discovered the joy of fencing.

My thoughts on peta is, these are a group of weak minded people looking for a place to fit in. Like David caress's and Jim jones followers. There's a lot of them out there that seem like they need to fit in somewhere, and those of that caliber can be taught to believe anything, cause there not smart enough to know the difference. I dearly love animals but I never get to thinking they are people.

PETA supporters come from across the spectrum. On the net I've seen Christians and athiests both trying to justify animal rights. There's a lady living not too far from us that picks up strays from the side of the road and takes them home with her. She's a PETA supporter, but certainly wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth. I think her husband ran a backhoe. Today they live on their retirement savings and Social Security. You can't conviently pigeonhole PETA supporters and just write them off as athiests or rich people with nothing else to do. Their support is much wider and deeper than that.

I once heard an interview being given by the founder of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk. The interviewer asked if she believed in God. She refused to answer. By her her refusal to answer we may assume she does not. On the other hand, if she does have a belief in God, she does not believe that man was created in His image and has been given dominion over all living things according to her philosophy which states " a rat is a dog is a pig is a boy."

You are correct. But Frankie would find "ONE" PETA charter member who is not a liberal just to call me a liar.........

Liberals are a huge set of (diverse) individuals. While I suspect most peta members do tend to be politically liberal, they are loathed by a great many liberals, most in fact. Even other somewhat radical animal rights types hate peta - peta gives them a bad reputation.

Something else we can agree on.
