Orphaned Wild Calf has watery eyes and wont eat grain

Hi, we took on an orphaned calf about 4-5 months old. The calf grazes fine, but refuses to eat grain. She is skinny with ribs visible and we want her to eat the grain to gain some weight back. Also both eyes are very watery. Any advise? She's been living wild up until now.

If you aren't familiar with dealing with sick cattle, you should contact a veterinarian to look at her and treat appropriately.

Hi. If she's not used to eating grain, it will take her a while to get used to it. Worming her would probably be beneficial. Parasites can take a lot out of them. Got any pictures of her eyes?

I adopted a wild mustang that didn't know what to do with feed. After watching another horse lick a tub Ms Suspicious took a lick. Now eats anything. It might take some time and a Trojan calf

Find a buddy that is friendly. They are a "monkey see, monkey do"..... and will follow another when they eat and want to try what the other one is getting.
