A is heavy bred, B short bred. :) I've been around enough dairy cattle, but I could be wrong here. lol...still, I think that's an educated guess at the least.
 
No teat dip, just black-tipped teats on B. On A, too, come to think of it. Both of 'em have black teats. The lactating cow has calves with her 24/7 and I don't dip teats. lol.

Hard to tell which is the heavy bred one, isn't it? :lol: ;-)

I think that A is heavy bred and B is short bred. I am no cattle expert, but I think that the obvious may not be so obvious at all...:D :roll: :lol:

I'd want to see some pics of their vulvas before I could venture a guess... honestly, that's been a better indicator than guts or udders for these old eyes.

Be a sport, take a couple pics with their tails out the way for the curious. ;-) I've had heavy breds who looked close to both A and B here... depends on the beastie.

Well, I think because we can't see under the tail we'd be better off to know about physchology than cattle. Which one would MM expect us to choose? Does she want to make us all look like fools or not? These are the important questions.

Knowing nothing about physchology though and also knowing that cows can be next to impossible to judge (depending on the cow) I am going to say A is the heavy bred.

Yes, that's my final answer.
 
B is the heavy bred and A is the shorter bred. That is, unless A is the heavy bred, and in that case B would be the shorter bred
