Houston weatherman (Ch11) stated last night that "winter is over". Haven't heard any geese, but have already noticed lots of those big winged insets that look like giant skeeters. Crane flies I think they're called.

Been coming over out here too. Also had about 40 turkeys in the pasture late yesterday afternoon.

I hope he's right, but I think the first week of February is a little early for that. I've seen it 28° in April, and I know you have too.
