Just a little 'breezy' here, humid as he// with dark clouds rolling northward. We're feeding the energy up to yall....tomorrow it may all slide back to my area tho.

Logan County Ok, northwest of OKC got a double dose threat, tho I haven't heard any damage reports yet.

Rained all day yesterday & all night, well over 5" on top of 1" 2 days ago on already saturated land. Our sump pump is running constantly. Combination of anxious & scared to check the damage. Fortunately no tornadoes - this time - but roads, highways, even part of the turnpike is closed.

Yesterday was a total dud here. It rained for about five minutes and was a rather pleasant day otherwise. Today was supposed to be just rain and instead it's heavy thunderstorms with a tornado warning just south of here and headed this way.

It's getting real. Breached the emergency spillway on the watershed lake. The dam is 48ft high and currently 5ft from going over, which will take out our brome & Bermuda fields, probably flood the barns/barnyard & a neighbors house to the south. Normally holds 155 million gallons when it's full; can't imagine how much water is flowing now. So thankful I shut off access for the cattle last week & the house is on higher ground! 7.5" since noon yesterday on top of already saturated pastures. The sheer force even took out a whistle on one of the roads. So I guess we won't be moving bulls & heifers today. Or tomorrow.

5 inches of rain here, most are saying 3 inches or so. Seen Guymon water rescue go through town headed south east about 1:00 lights and sirens they were already 2 plus hours from home.

I talked to a buddy of mine and he said all we got was lots of rain but no bad stuff thank goodness.
I'll make a trip early in the morning to check thinks out.
I saw Mangum, Horbart area had a one them big divorce toranado's that take your house, pickup, dog and everything you own.

Miami, OK here. Town is predicted to flood pretty bad, saying the worst flood since 07. Our town is notorious for floods. I live south of town 7miles. Creek gets a little wild but no worries really. House is 1/2mile from creek, plenty of higher ground for cattle

Water gap was out, everything flooded and missing 5 cows, but I found them and got them back where they belong.

It's getting ready to get ugly just North of me. There's at least one mandatory evacuation due to flooding and several voluntary that they're saying could become mandatory shortly and they're all under tornado watch again. The corp of engineers shut off outflow from Eufala to the Canadian River to try and ease the pressure on the Arkansas River into Kerr Reservoir. The kids and I were on Kerr today and it's a couple feet higher than I've ever seen it despite shutting off the Canadian inflow.
An older gentleman told me today, "welcome to Oklahoma, we're spending Memorial day weekend at the lake whether we like it or not."

In January 2006 I used the Eufaula as one fire line. Lake was down so much it was 100ft from the water to the woods. Sounds like it's in the trees now.

Around this time last year, we were getting slammed, almost daily for a few weeks then it tapered off to a couple of days each week, for months. Roads & bridges washed out. Sounds like all of you in the middle parts of the country are getting slammed now. I really feel for you! I'm sorry to hear of all the flooding & tornadoes. That's a rough deal. Very difficult for those/you folks to get crops in the ground, hay fields cut, etc.

I hope all the CT members, living in those areas, are okay.

Good to see your posts TC. :)
