I had a nightmare last night that my heifer (PB black Angus) gave birth to a brown 86 lbs calf at 5 months bred

I woke up thinking "What am I going to do??"

I had a bad dream like that once. Dreamed a cow I was planning to sell as a heavy bred, calved 40 days early with twins, bull and heifer, and both calves died.

Not a good dream. :shock:

Once dreamed I had to pull a calf in the snow on Christmas morning. Christmas came and I was pulling a calf in sleet - in southern Georgia!

I had a nightmare last night that my heifer (PB black Angus) gave birth to a brown 86 lbs calf at 5 months bred

I woke up thinking "What am I going to do??"

Something pretty close to that was reallity for me last week. Had to pull a 45 pound dead calf from a 7 1/2 months bred heifer. Be thankful it was only a dream.

I have a brown Angus bull calf out in the pasture. When he sheds all that hair in the spring, he'll be black, though.

Had a weird dream once too. I was working at a ranch helping with their dispersal sale. We had penned almost all the cows the day before the sale for display in pens made out of electric tape. I was sleeping in the bunk house at the ranch that night and woke up middle of the night after dreaming that all the cows knocked down the electric tape and were running around like crazy. I thought about going too check on them but figured it was dark and if they were out i wouldn't be able to pen them myself so i went back to sleep. we all got up at sun up to get ready for the sale and to my amazement all the cows were still penned. But unfortunately my dream came true later that morning when we were penning pairs and all the calves decided to play hop scotch from pen to pen and then the cows followed knocking down electric tape and wire everywhere. Needless to say me and my buddies worked double time for our money that day.
