Thanks OK Jeanne-yes, that is our place in January '07 in NZ. We won the competetition for the front cover photo!

1999 born cow and her sixth calf, Sept '06 born bull calf which she weaned end April '07 at 797lbs. She is one of our biggest, inclined to be a too big and boney though.

Are all Murray Greys "splay-footed" in the front feet?

I'd say the calf looks contented. No most MGs aren't splay footed. They are very good cattle in good conditions,they are good to cross with. They don't seem to do all that well in very poor conditions like Bos Indicus animals,which is understandable.
