I may need a valium. I have 15 head being synched up for AI on Monday. One is a mini-jersey. Semen was 250.00. I have never bred anything with semen this high dollar. This is one of my Mothers minis. I sure hope she takes cause my momma might take a switch to me if I mess this up :shock: :mrgreen:

Really high demand for mini jersey semen i guess. I didn't know there was such a thing as a mini jersey.

You'd would be suprized. There is big demand for all mini cattle. Folks give big money at those exotic sales.

Mini Jerseys are big money. It is hard to find one for less than 3k, heifers that is. Bulls can go upwards of 10k. The high dollar ones are from the original bloodlines and there is only 150 or so in the US. My mother crosses them on Dexters to get mini Irish Belmonts. The only problem is the market is small so you have to know where and who to sell to.

You'll most likely get the same results as you usually do with AI... It's just that now you're REALLY WATCHING!!!. :nod:
I've just almost convinced myself that I can stick cows better with mid-range bulls. I know it isn't true but it sure takes some pressure off.
Look at it this way, if she doesn't take and you get fired, at least it isn't your livelyhood.
