"Black Book". Made in the Netherlands. Very Good. Thriller centered around Dutch Jewish resistance to Nazi occupation in WWII.

Defiance - true story about a Jewish resistance group in Poland during the Holocaust, Count of Monte Cristo, The Man From Snowy River, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Miserables. Those ones are all really good, interesting, entertaining, can watch with anyone type of movies. I like the Bourne Identity series as well as the Die Hard movies, but then I'm easily entertained. :lol2:

I feel sheepish recommending these after reading Milkmaid's quality choices, but I never tire of watching Field of Dreams and Dances with Wolves.

"Man on Wire". French documentary made about a man that in 1974 strung a wire between the tops of New York's World Trade Towers and walked back and forth on it. Doesn't sound too good I know, but it really is. How he and his team smuggled all of their equipment to the top was fascinating as were the film clips of him walking the wire. Very good movie. Four and a half stars.
