I enjoy writing humor. It is a personal experience that I find rewarding. I employ it to exercise my creative nature.

I have written several Yoder stories. When I left Denver in 2010, my friends wanted up-dates on my farm. I responded with the Yoder stories. I send them out via E-mail. Now with FaceBook, I put them up there. No one has offered a complaint. My Yoder thread that got deleted Saturday, is up on my FaceBook. Many here know Jeanne White, she is a FaceBook friend and she responded with a like.

To those who complained to Mod1: I did not prepare that post for CT. I prepared it for my friends in Denver. I got the idea of posting it here. It was not directed at anyone and I had no purpose other than humor. I respect all the opinions that it was tasteless.

Jo ask what I have against the Amish. Answer: Nothing.

Wasn't me either. I have a lot of respect for the Yoders in the world who live by and have principles. I just chose not to read it.

I've gotten to where I enjoy your stories....once I realize it's a story  . You have a good creative streak and are a good wordsmith. I would bet it's usually cold where that mod is and it takes them time to warm up enough to get the idea. Maybe you could preface the stories with a disclaimer :D .

Damnit. I miss all the good stuff because I am not on the computer on weekends. Mr. Inyati, how about a pm with facebook info? Please?
Last line I saw was where Granny whacked Yoder on the tally whacker with a whacker also used as a spoon and Yoder bellered like a bull and hauled a$$....

Yes, but he had a smile on his face.

Yoder's is a good restaurant to eat at. The rolls and cheesecake is the best. It's owned by Mennonites In Montezuma Ga. I can see where you offend folks Inyati. Use Tyrone and black or color folk instead of Amish and Jakob. But I still enjoy reading your stories.

Another vanishing thread Ron!? Wow do you ever have a way with the Mods!

Fun. That's all I want. Candidly, I think some folks were offended or maybe some folks like to be offended. Nevertheless, if the Mods get complaints, I support their actions. I am not whining. I posted this for clarification. All I can do at this point is to state that it was humor. I may be insensitive but I was only thinking how proud I was of that last line.

I like your humor and fun also. It livens everything up!

I doubt it was taken down for being insensitive to the religious group but maybe for the comments I made about the pencil and paper. If anyone was offended by my comments I apologize. I too, was trying to be funny as was inyati. I thought the post was hilarious.
