The first heifer pictured is one that I would cull. She appears to be shotgun barreled with not enough depth. The other heifers should make good commercial cows. Breed them to terminal sires after their first calves.

yeah i was on the fence about the first one but the dam and sire are real nice..think she might just be behind the curve so i took it too...

Don't see a lot of eared cattle since I moved off up the the frigid northland of KY - but went the the UK/UT Bred Heifer sale at Guthrie a week or so back, and my top picks out of the 200 head or so were some BeemasterXAngus heifers - REALLY NICE!

gary the 1st heifer is questable in my eyes.but she could come out of it.but they are a nice set of heifers.

yeah time will tell. she could always go towards paying the bills in a few mos i guess...like i said i wasnt over the top on the first one but they had em all together and i figured what the heck...ill take em all..they had 40..she kept 15. gave me first pick of the 15 she kept. these 5 were all running together in one corner of the pen out of the 15 so we walked em into the trlr as a group...

I should have added besides the first one I think they all look fine. The price was right too I'd say.
