I hope so too. But that would be almost unbelievable. I thought this was another storm that they were blowing out of proportion but I keep hearing from every news source that this is the strongest hurricane to ever hit the mainland. 919mb. Also supposedly the first CAT4 to ever hit the panhandle and the first CAT4 to hit in October. Idk?

Only thing standing strong is the house . Shingles are missing. Family is still safe . Everything else looks gone .

Not everything else.........your drive and your faith are still intact.

Prayers that all lives are safe. The material stuff will hurt, but can be replaced. You and your family cannot. Hope that the cattle will do okay also. The only saving grace is that it is supposed to move fairly quickly.

M-5 just told me he has lost 3 barns, one had 300 rolls of hay, another a tractor and hay baler. House has a little damage, fences tore up, but family is ok

And you’re not joking right? If that’s true then I can’t even make myself feel sorry for him. That’s a classic case of weeding out weak genetics. But I do sympathize for his family.

Heard it on the news early this morning. I imagine his buddies were offended when emergency personnel didn't rush right to the scene and start a search.
