Michael expected to make landfall about where panhandle of Fla begins, traverse NE across north Fla, cut a swath thru SE Ga, then thru both of the Carolinas and emerge into the Atlantic.

Being in the 'corner' of Florida could cause some pretty significant surge..

Hope it stays easterly so we don't get it in the mountains here. Got 12 acres of hay on the ground, tedded; and raked one place, will rake the other tomorrow about noon and should all be in the wagons by tomorrow evening. Saying 60% from this weather system on wed/thurs.. Need to get this made in sq bales, have horse customers getting antsy and I can't blame them. Regular customers for over 15 years, and they pay when delivered, so you don't want to disappoint them.

The bad news is Cantore is never in the right place. I'm sure glad it was to rough for Vincent to travel last week.

You’re probably right. Wish my winter grazing was planted and about 6” tall but we all know that wishing won’t get you anywhere. Maybe it will rain some and move on. Hope it doesn’t stall like Alberto did in 94. But it shouldn’t being it’s a fast moving storm. Your boat at home?

You could be right. But I sure hope not. I’m bad short on help and just barely keeping all the wheels turning as it is. It may be like Lone Watie was told by the Secretary of the Interior in Josey Wales..... “Endeavor to persevere.”

WE are DRY but i feel sorry for harvest. I did nootice that every field had pickers running late yesterday and it looks like they brought in help. several thousand acres of cotton has been defoliated and peanuts plowed up. Hopefully they get it all done today.

Do you put the cows in the woods or a pasture? We're in the middle of the bullseye. Rebel auction has a couple of things I'm interested in and for now the sale is still on for Thursday. There's a loader for a 7000 series Ford at absolute.

It’s gonna wreak havoc on the cotton here. A lot has been defoliated and what hasn’t is pretty well open. Wind will ruin it.
Won’t help the peanuts but it’s likely not to be as detrimental to them. Neighbor finished plowing up the rest of theirs Sunday and yesterday. They’ve picked about 700 of 900 acres. They were almost done. Rain won’t help but it won’t hurt them too bad provided they can get back in the fields to get them picked.
