I'm going to mow some shooting lanes out tomorrow. I tried 2 weeks ago and almost bogged down before I got started. So it's probably now or never for this year.JMJ Farms":24vqxfwg said:True Grit Farms":24vqxfwg said:I'll believe it when I see it.
Me too. But I’m all but certain we’re fixing to get soaked. And probably some pretty high winds for what we’re used to.
The bad news is Cantore is never in the right place. I'm sure glad it was to rough for Vincent to travel last week.M-5":3k578o1l said:Local authorities are saying the eye is coming over us. I think they are a being little presumptuous . Cantore is in Apalachicola which is 1.5 hrs due south of me. Previous storms paths Kate and opal wrecked havoc on us here.

I hope Vince is right. I don’t want it to tear up Appalachicola and St George. I hope to make one more trip down the first of next month. Actually I don’t want it to tear up anything anywhere but that’s not up to me. How far are you from the coast Dash?
I hope you fair well and without any major damage or ill effects.M-5":29w2pytv said:60 milesJMJ Farms":29w2pytv said:M-5":29w2pytv said:Local authorities are saying the eye is coming over us. I'm afraid it's going show my lack of carpentry skills and my ability to rig just enough to get by.JMJ Farms":1rxzk5b7 said:True Grit Farms":1rxzk5b7 said:I'm a little worried about this one because it's expected to be moving fast. We could get a lot of wind from this.
It will help to sharpen your fence fixing skills! I hope not though. I feel I’ve had enough practice!

You'll definitely get your wish, be careful what you wish for in the flat lands.Jogeephus":3mt1imk7 said:We could use more rain since we haven't had any rain in maybe a day or two. :bang:
image postingDo you put the cows in the woods or a pasture? We're in the middle of the bullseye. Rebel auction has a couple of things I'm interested in and for now the sale is still on for Thursday. There's a loader for a 7000 series Ford at absolute.M-5":9nmk5t5r said:WE are DRY but i feel sorry for harvest. I did nootice that every field had pickers running late yesterday and it looks like they brought in help. several thousand acres of cotton has been defoliated and peanuts plowed up. Hopefully they get it all done today.
