On Thurs the 12th. Leave Fri Morning after 1 last check of the cattle.

Boss Lady will check the waterers daily. Pail feed her heifers, all fenceline, no gates to open 30 ft max to carry pails.

Then :D I'm off to MT :D 2 days of pheasant and duck hunting.
Then :D South to WY high desert country East of Lander for a few days of Muley hunting. 8) 8)

Pictures to follow ??

I really don't think it wise to go without a certified sherpa/guide/gofor/gun cleaner/cook/dog scratcher and I just happen to be one and all. I think my schedule is clear for whatever time you said. Yep, most definitely is. ;-)

Good luck and have fun!

mnmtranching,

That sounds like it will be a nice hunting trip ! :D I hope you kill a slew full of ducks and limit out on pheasents. And above all have a safe trip. ;-)

Like ROCKSPRINGS said bring back plenty of pictures. I am counting on seeing pictures of some big muleys to. ;-)

That was a nice try jogeephus, I already tried to weasel my way into going with him hunting to but it did'nt work.

I guess next year we will have to get together and just show up at old mnmtranching's front door with the trucks loaded up with rifles/gear and tell him we are ready to go hunting. ;-)

I was picturing one of those hunts like the rich English people did in Africa. We could tag along as servants and keep the camp in order since our "back and neck injuries" would prevent us from dragging any heavy objects. ;-)

Exactly jogeephus ! I like your way of thinking ! ;-) I had completly for about our back and neck injuries. If there was any dragging heavy objects to be done we would have to look up some help.

But we could diffinately keep the camp in order & all the guns cleaned etc...,

"BWANA" MNM?

Stepper and Jogeephus,

He said he is not leaving until Friday morning. If you hurry you can still catch him. And if you miss him you know he is going east of Lander, Wyoming. How tough could it be to find him there?

Thanks for the Well wishes 8)

MM, Boss Lady keeps the reigns putry tight the rest of the year.
I still haven't figured out why she puts up with me. :o

I wouldn't mind having dog scratchers along, the pups would appreciate it. :D Or cooks I've been known to come back to camp darn hungry. If you guys come to MN you'll have to take back some MN whitetail with you.
Why not get on I 80 and head West.
Georgia to Lander would be a ride wouldn't it? But whats the difference once your on the interstate.
Stepper If I remember right, I got about a 17 hr drive from my home the Lander. When I look at the maps, looks like you would be close to the same. The 80 mph across ND and MT helps me. I remember those first trips with Dad before the interstates.  Then came the years of the 55 mph speed limit, enforced in ND and MT HOLY COW! For a anxious kid, the trip took forever.

Man!! Sure could have used some help. And I brought a lot of extra food home. :(

mnmtranching,

Well dont keep us in suspense ! Lets hear it, did you kill a big one ? Did you bring back any pictures ?

I just read in the other thread where mnmtranching got a 5 x 5 muley and limited out on pheasents each day. Sounds like a good trip. ;-)
