Well- 4-H class is over, so here's how we did..
My Appendix Shorthorn placed second in her class with a blue ribbon.
My cousins Simmental paced first and received a blue.
We are fairly happy with the results.
Didnt go out for showmanship-heifer was acting up that morning.
ANYWAY- Here are the real winners for everyone's veiwing experience...
Grand Champion Breeding Heifer (Simmental)
Personally, I wouldn't have picked her. I watched the grand drive, and she wasn't in my top 3.
Reserve Grand Breeding Heifer (Angus)
-Not a very flattering picture, but a nice heifer in person.
Champion Market Beef
Reserve Champion Market Beef
Personally, I wasn't impressed with him in person. I had a different steer picked out for second.
