I was having a little trouble finding my Christmas spirit this year, too. But then grand-daughter came over Monday night and we made some treats together. One item was made especially for her mother, so we hid some in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator to make sure nobody ate it before Christmas. We had a good giggle together, knowing that the men in the house would never open that vegetable drawer and find that stash of candy. And that moment turned the tide.
I still have to run out and get a couple things, and the traffic will be a mess and the stores will be packed with cranky people, and tonight will be a "wrap-a-thon". But now, I'm up for it.
