I have a cow which has mastitis in one teat. The Vet treated her with a medication in the teat. I gave penicillin for 5 days. Milked her out on the fifth day. The problem teat's milk looked fine, but the milk was coming from a hole on the side on the teat and about 2"-3" up from the end. Any suggestions or comments on correcting this?<p>

We use vaseline if the teat is chapped or cracked. Did the vet see the hole?
