Inferior may have been the wrong word choice but reducing marbling would seem to be counter productive to producing quality beef when most people prefer it.

Lets be honest here.. 90% of the people buying beef cannot even tell you what marbling is. It doesn't take IMF to make good quality beef. Maybe I'm one of the 90% but I enjoy the flavor of the meat. Lean and juicy. Not fat.
