losing wieght

i have trhee 4-h calves brown swiss jersey shorthorn all need to lose some weight how do i go about doing this.
 
How long do you work them each day? Maybe get em out and walk them for a little longer for some extra exercise.
 
k they were in pens now there out on pasture and 1 once a day get a bit of silage but mostly get poushed outa the way by the bigger cows. my show is july 28
 
Yeah. I would definitely say feed before water if that's your problem. Maybe get a halter on them and exercise them a little each day if your pasture isn't that large.

It depends on why you are pulling jay. You take water away to get rid of sheer weight, and feed to get rid of condition.
He's trying to get rid of condition.

I know jay, thats why I told him to take them off feed.
