Little Icy Tonight

Got a call around 5 tonight from hubby telling me to not freak. Our aunt had tried to come into town and slid into the ditch right at the end of her driveway. She is 84 but was not injuried. Scared her and us.
Just before 6pm got another call one co-worker had slid off the road on her way home and was stuck in a ditch too. I called a friend of mine near her and I headed out to help. Found both her and her sister in the ditch together. Sister had tried to pull her out. My friend showed up with a chain and a tow rope and we got them both out and we all headed for home.

All's well that ends well I guess! Glad no one was hurt.

No kidding Nesikep. The only funny part was when my friend almost ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road! Glad I have a good set of lungs! Even my friend in his truck heard me yell Stop! :lol2: :lol2:

Just glad none of us slipped and fell on that ice.
