My neighbor has offered to let me use his litter spreader. He does not want to charge me, but I don't want to abuse his generosity.

What would be a fair price for a day's use?

Wow that is a nice spreader. Yeh I think a carton of his favourite beverage would be appropriate. He obviously wants you to use it, the carton would show your appreciation.

Those spreaders are expensive and see wear and corrosion. Takes a pretty good size tractor to handle that heaping full of wet litter. Especially on slopes.
$10 to $15 dollars per load might be fair. Per load seems fairer than per day.

I don't know anything about those but looks expensive. I rent a no till grass seed drill from time to time at 7.00 per acre... for comparison sake
