Let me have it!

Ok, i was told i dont know anyone here. And, this is true. I often read these post on my phone and its hard to get to every area and it also takes time. SO, since many of you have been in this group for years, its hard to dig back and know the things about you that you want the new people to know.
I've never met a stranger. Its been a life long trait that i have. i can be thrown into a group and fit right in. I can be standing in line at walmart and talk to the person next to me like they are a long lost friend. This obviously doesnt translate well via chat rooms. In person, i can detect the type of people who feel you have to pay your dues before you fit in and i act accordingly. Online, thats a trait that often backfires when you dont pay your dues like reaching the status score, guru.....I saw cow people and heck, i spend lots of time with cows and i like talking cows.
So, here it is, i want to know what you want me to know about you. Write a lot, write a little. If you want me to know, write it. I will read it and will have it to reference when needed......and, i will ask questions..
I can be standing in line at Wally World and most likely not be talking to person next to me like they are a long lost friend. I don't know about your Wally World down there, but around here it can bring out a lot more of the crazies than the opposite. Except for picking up the essentials when I have to , I try to "steer" (haha!) clear of Wally World and "the people of Walmart" (Google "people of walmart", please) as much as possible.
Sorry to be a downer but there's a lot of strangers out there that I don't want them to even be my 'long lost friend'. And a random person in line at a store is no coincidence whatsoever unless I know them from past history. People watch at Wally World for 10 minutes. Makes me want to puke most of the time. Especially in the produce and what they do with there hands (def not going into any more details ...) ..... sorry, rambling, venting ..... :deadhorse: :compute: :2cents:

I enjoy reading and learning and this is a good place for both. I've even learned a few things from you, and I don't like rattlesnakes. I'm sure Milkmaid saved a cow for me with her advice. Hopefully everyone can get along and we'll move on to something else besides snakes. Where else can you go and learn about ranching in Australia, Canada, Venezuela and a host of other places. The folks that I have met from this board have exceeded my expectations. I'm just a simple man and the Lord has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams.

You got it backwards. Your experience on this board will not be defined by knowing other users, it will be defined by knowing yourself. First, define what your goals are on this board. Are you here to please? Are you here to be liked? Are you here to learn? Are you here to run in one of the packs? I see people who fit all those molds. Some of these people don't know who they are. How are they going to help you?

My observation is that you do not know yourself well. I see you make assertions that are weak but you hold to them like they are Laws of Nature. You don't hedge a bad hand. And my dear, by all that is sacred, you play hard on a lot of bad hands. You know very little about snakes. I doubt you even have a BS degree in Biology but you assert yourself like you are the Father of Herpetology. Take heed. I am giving you an ace to play. I know you are sincere and that is a precious quality. But your pride is hampering you. Your pride is so great, you are not allowing yourself any room to maneuver.

Good luck, not just here but in life.
Trust me i know who i am, yall just arent ready for it.

"There you go again" as Reagan would say to Jimmy Carter. How old are you? Humans are not out of diapers until they hit 50. I am still learning who I am. One thing I learned early. I had a job that If I was going to stay with it, I was going to have to learn that everyday at work, I was going to be the bad guy. You have to learn to stand in front of a man who gets to call you every name and accuse you of every foul practice ever invented by mortals. It teaches you some intensive defensive skills!

Here you are over playing your hand. How do you know we cannot handle it? Can you be forthright enough to admit that you don't have the data to make that statement? Do you see what the point is? Did you read my message? I invite you to disagree. I like that but you are clearly already wrong before you start. You cannot possibly know what each user on the forum is capable of.

I've had a few that exceeded my expectations, a few who've dropped the ball and some who are just down right irritating.. I'm like you, i want to learn about how others ranch. I couldnt care less about snakes, i know what i know and i've never been bitten and i can identify a poisonous one just fine and i can do it without a BS degree in Biology. I went outside and learned....
There is no way anyone can 'know' me from what i've typed in this forum. How i converse with posters is in no way a good indication to the person i am.

Still hoping to hear about who you are...really hoped to have more because i've heard it from several posters. I know i've posted a bunch, but i'm a early riser and get really really bored before the sun comes up..I must enjoy this day, longest day of the year, its 5;30 and i see the sun already peeking on the horizon. Winter is such a bi tch, short days, cold...blah blah, now i'm rambling...

This is a cattle forum, right? You seem very firm that you know i dont know who i am, yet, because you are still learning who you are... do you not see the inconstancy in this? You know i dont know who i am yet you dont know who you are...lol... Is it so outrageous to think that maybe someone does know who they are, but doesnt mean they have quit learning. Is your BS in psychology too?

I'm all hat, no cattle. OK, I don't even own a hat.

I miss having both cattle and sheep. Can't do it anymore because of my health. So I sold my cows along with my home place to the neighbor a couple years ago.

Still live here, but no longer have responibilty for day to day stuff. Got it in the contract that I can live here as long as I wish, so I tell people basically I'm a squatter. ;-) I pay my own gas, electric, telephone, and insurance. Neighbors pay my water bill.

This 4 room house ain't much, so this will likely be just another vacant place after I'm gone. If not, it's easier for the younger generation to move in a trailer house .... errr.... modular home.

I still have a place in another location I rent out for summer pasture and I put up hay there with a neighbor helping me. Gives me something useful to do, and I hope to be able to stick with it a few more years.

I don't want to move to town, but someday my health might force me to. I'd rather be hauled out of here in a box.

Fair, fair. Trying to get you to look maybe harder than I thought you were. But you already got it under control.

Opening post..........
So, here it is, i want to know what you want me to know about you. Write a lot, write a little. If you want me to know, write it. I will read it and will have it to reference when needed......and, i will ask questions..
Second posting........
There is no way anyone can 'know' me from what i've typed in this forum. How i converse with posters is in no way a good indication to the person i am.

How can we help you? What are you looking for? Why ask us for something that you can't provide? None of us can provide it in a sentence either. If you can't play your own game, then don't start it. It is obvious you love to argue and fight as you keep coming back for more. We don't get upset if we are wrong, and it seems to be your complete existence. I feel that if you are married your husband stays away from the house finding something to do while the sun is shining 7 days a week to get away from your mouth. Since you wear the pants there, is he allowed to wear pants too or does he go to the fields in a dress?

I suggest you change your name and come back as your other personality if there is one. Dig deep and try to pull it out as we don't listen to your advice when we see your name.

Me? You wanna know about me?
Well, after my first post I learned what BQA meant.
Later, I learned that pigs WILL swim. ( you'll have to look that up)
Then I learned that most folks here are good, honest, call it as they see it type folks.
Holy shyt, then along comes inyati. I thought finally; someone i can relate to :D Then I thought he was a fruitloop. Still do :lol2:
Now you. Enough of that, I think you are the empty hole in the fruitloop. ;-)
Me? Back to me.........

M5, I like a good laugh too. Gotta ybe careful though.
Advise from a nobody............
If you are taking pain meds for an injury and happen to be a groomsmen in your best friends wedding at the same time.............DON'T drink the whiskey!!!!!! And if the love of your life pulls you aside and says " You're an azzhole", don't tell her she's a bytch loud enough for EVERYBODY to hear. :?

Change your definition of stupidity to insanity.
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

I guess the moral of this thread is don't ask Chuckie to "Let me have it!

:D
I think that nail could not have been hit more square.

Now I know why I am someone you can relate to:
This is the truth: I went to my niece's wedding about 6 years ago. I flew in from Colorado and the wedding and reception was at a nice Catholic Church. Alcohol was prohibited. My nephew and I slipped out and went to the liquor store. I drank a half pint of Kentucky Whiskey before we got back. I was afraid that it would be hard to drink when we got back in. I still had a pint in my coat. They started dancing and I thought I should join in. I invented a new dance the Watusi.
