I woke up about 4 and turned the tv on and we were about 30 minutes away from a severe storm, it
must have went around us because we just had heavy rain and some wind.
The county put a storm siren a few hundred yards from our house, it definitely will get your attention. It makes the walls vibrate.
We are building a house that will have a safe room, getting close to being finished but not ready yet. I would have hated to gotten blown away last night when we have a basement with a saferoom under construction.
