The mamas look to be 3 to 4 generations from Brahman, so they could be bred to many breeds and loose some ear. These calves still have plenty of ear.

Thanks Shorty. The first two ( the ones with their mommas ) are out of a Angus bull. The calf groups are out of a limo. All their Moms are out of a Braford bull and Braham/Herdford/Simm crossed cows.

This is the first calf crop out of the Angus we bought to put on our 2 year old heifers. We're really pleased with the calves we're getting, thinking about getting another one to go with the limo on the older cows.

yeah she's a little scruffy lookin but she's been a heck of a good ol cow. she's one of those that as soon as you pull up to feed she is standing there staring at you through the pickup window. i grew so accustom to her i had to give her a name.
