These youngsters need more then they know! In management terms they're unconsciously incompetent. They don't know what to do, and they don't know that they don't know.
It's like riding in the pickup with your dad when you were 5. You heard the engine rev up, his feet move down on the floorboard, his hands moved the steering wheel, the truck moved, but you had no idea what was happening except the truck went somewhere.
That's the position these two are in. They need someone to mentor them very closely about every aspect of life, not just income. They signed up for a crash course in life and the lessons, as we all know, take a while.
Where can they learn to develop a work ethic, honesty, integrity, principles of faith and human relations skills? It all takes time and they short circuited their learning curve by their actions. Not only do they need their family and friends they need God's help.
What occupation do you encourage? Man, I'm in Kansas and the wind is blowing right now!!! I'd look into a junior college who offers training paid for the the companies who set up and maintain the wind farms. Just can't be afraid of heights if you're going to climb up there! May God bless that young couple.
