HAHA, I might just be interested. For sure if it had lift arms on it.
I placed third last weekend with my massey harris 44 in an antique tractor pull. I was way outclassed by 2 JD's that had major work done to them.

I like that tractor would like to have it to ride it in parades here not pull with it. TRY? hmm that thing must be a hoss

My cub can pull a 4 foot disc like nobodys business lol..... I was at the sale barn today it was a cow calf pair special sale today most had papers on them ranged from 1300-1900 a pair was some good looking pairs. I left with a empty trailer though no red angus there. They totally screw anyone that has a char angus calf there they intentionally say they are char but they dont have a pink nose the nose is blk and indicative of being a angus cross those calves he may as well kept them he didnt make hardly 650 for each steer he sold and they were between 470-510lbs if i remember correctly

We have bought charX calves as far east as Lynchburg because of the discounted price. Makes it worth the trip. The charX bring the same or sometimes a penny or two more here.
I only got one pair Monday. 2 year old Angus with a heifer calf. $1600 Made a few others bring $1650.
Bought 8 450-500 steer and bull calves monday and they averaged 130.85. Price should be higher as the week goes on.

not sure what it is but any cattle on this side of the state if they aren't solid black they take a serious plunge in pricing. I wonder why that is.

MH looks good do you have the tricycle tires on it ? what about the JD 720 tricycle or not ? I have a guy here that has one that drives it in local parade I love that thing.

Biggest difference I have been able to see is your calves go north to Pennsylvania, many to the Amish country and almost all of ours go west to either Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa. Some go to different places of course but this is where most go. Many of the calves that bring a premium in your area would be called medium to short here.

Both are tricycle. A bit odd that I never used one until a couple years ago. The JD 720 also has a 4 cyl motor on it as the starter. It screams at 7000 RPM until you engage it and start the diesel then you cut it off.

because most of the cattle here are being bought by northern buyers where as in southwest va the buyers are more assembling cattle to move west.

Two diffeerent markets with two different preferences.
