I see where Ohlde Cattle Company had a very successful bull sale...88 bulls sold averaged over $6100 each - with the top bull selling for $52,000....

Looks like more people are seeing the advantages to the more moderate framed cattle.....

Jake- Did you get your bull bought or did he get too pricey?

I can appreciate moderate, some of the OCC cattle push the line a little for our country. We need more scrotal out of them as well.

OCC has done a neat job linebreeding cattle.

SEC: Do you know who bought the Ohlde cowherd? I had heard that Tim was not in the best of health.

didn't hear who bought the herd, just that it was sold.
I believe Steve Dorran told me that.

A neighbor was at the sale, I don't think the whole herd sold, just part. The $52,000 bull also ran my neighbor over the fence. Nice $52,000 disposition.
