I was wandering around the yard today in the rain- and realized
I'm probably going to have to mow the yard again...

The grass is still growing (and the weeds are growing faster)...

Something almost unheard of up here in the Great American Desert.
Usually this time of the year everything is totally dried out and brown...

And we have severe thunderstorm warnings again...

Is it really Sept 9th :???:

I ran a doe and fawn out of this little bunch of brush when I walked near it...
They were laying in the yard behind the bush's and the dogs didn't even realize it...

Boy- I must have POed Ol Ma Nature with my questioning the weather..
Storm hit- probably the worst this year for lightning and thunder...
No wind- but straight down rain...Picked up another 1/2 inch in 15 minutes...
This is what the yard looks like now with all the moisture we've had..
And its still raining lightly...
Not nice to question Mother Nature? ;-) :lol2: :lol2:

Yep it is.
Still have 230 acres of barley standing in the fields. Got the winter wheat seed cleaned and the drills ready to start this next week to planting.

been a crazy year.
Had a thunderstorm go through last night. Been raining off and on all day today.
