Hi, I am a hobby guy running a hand full of females. I hire a bull and ai. I have 4 Heifers that I am joining with a bull. He broke down and a new one was swung in the day later. My hire guy pulled some strings and made it happen quick.

One of the heifers is this bulls daughter. I don't want to make a fuss and I am going to let thing run their course. Any huge problems here? It's a Heifer all I want is a live calf that I will not retain.

When i ran crossbreed cattle occasionally bred fathers to daughters and even those grandaughters and never had an issue. Usually happens when retaining a bull too long. Only thing i really noticed is if there is any flaws they can get magnified.

Thanks for the replies. I hope it's was understood I had made this decision based on not causing a fuss by asking my hire man to bring me a third bull. I am comfortable with the decision as a one off.
