I'm not selfish and I believe in giving to those in need. Any of you who are needing some rain I'll be glad to loan you some of mine for maybe two weeks or so. Its rained here every day for the past 22 days and I have plenty to spare. Keep in mind that I remember all to well about our last drought and I am by no means complaining but ......... I just want you to take some of this off my hands for a while.

Same here. I remember the drought all too well but after wading through a hay field yesterday I'm really wondering how I'm ever going to get any hay made. And when and if I ever do get to cut hay its surely going to be an epic event for sure.

These were our temps this morning. I'm at the red dot and it's currently 77. We've had 0.02" of rain and I'd gladly swap 10 degrees for a couple inches of rain.

For a while...........
Hmm, that sounds as tho you may be wanting it back later, and probably just when I would be needing it most and You'd probably want a couple of inches in interest too and I don't like debt anyway. I'll pass.
(it isn't lost on me, that you came up with this scheme only after interest rates have begun to climb too.) And no, don't even think about pitching any sub-prime moisture loan deal my way either. Just keep your rain you old water baron you--I know how your kind works.
Next thing we know, you and the rest of your henchmen will have created a bubble on water and when it bursts, we'll all be stuck with undervalued water and be drowning in upside down water notes.

GB, I was planning on only charging the same interest the federal government charges on student loans. I would think they have our best interests at heart so how much fairer can you be?

We've been missed by rain for 2 weeks straight now. Other properties have gotten enough to have good growth but not the 2 here. Send me about an inch a day for a week please

You just HAVE to always one up everyone don't you... :D Best I recall was getting rain something like 18 days out of 21 back around June of 1993.

It's been 42 days since our last measurable rain.

The old timers around here speak every so often of this "rain" that you're talking about. I guess I was to young to remember it if it has happened in my lifetime.

Slick we were at 69 at noon. High for the day was just before daylight this morning when it was 75. Only got a bout a quarter inch of rain tho. Better than nothing.

Send that rain here we need it! We haven't had any moisture in almost a month and today had a little shower that hardly settled the dust. Some of the pasture is already is burned up.

I'd love to give you some. I remember our last drought all too well so I don't want to complain cause I'll take water over drought any day of the week. Bur really, I've had enough for now and would love to share this blessing. I'm not complaining mind you. Just frustrated that I cannot share. I'm beginning to get the impression there is never a good time to have livestock. Ever get that impression?

I suppose then, I'll take some. I can always default on my agreement later and at the end of the term, you can come dig it up out of the ground.
I'll even show ya where it is and will keep it in an orderly easy to find geographical pattern. It will be in little 6" diameter reservoirs, in a straight line across my east side proberty, 2 1/2 ft down, with the reservoirs evenly spaced 12' apart. I'll store the remainder in 4 reservoirs 12" in diameter and 3 1/2' deep two each on each end of the line with those water pockets being 6' apart.
Ignore the stacks of fence posts and the rolls of barbed wire you see laying about--I'll do something with them after you leave.

Just got home and went out for a ride to check on things. We've had plenty of rain ourselves, can't even make it to the blacktop.

Whatever you did... It worked.
Real rain is falling here within the last hour.

It must be the edge of the cloud that's sprinkling rain on us now. You can have more if you want.

GB, if might be best if I just pull the wire so I don't get lost. Your directions are kindof shaky and if I pull the wire it will be like tossing down bread crumbs.

M5, that's some gal there to be willing to hold a lizard that size. I assume she is southern. (I hope using that term doesn't offend you. If so, I apologize)
