Ice Clouds In Texas Today???

The weather map is showing ice clouds passing over Texas today. What is going on there???

I guess if they are high enough Chuckie, there could be ice clouds anywhere.

Came back in for a sec.....I think the radar was messed up on both NOAA and Wunderground. It showed Texas covered with blue and gray ice clouds, about 60% of the state on my regular radar map. I have it set where it goes to the regular radar, not the high altitude map. It worried me that they could have a major hail storm going on. I have never seen the maps do that before. Now it just shows small regular green and yellow clouds with a touch of orange in the middle. It was just a gliche in the system for a while. I was concerned that they were getting damage there. Oh well.....

We had some pretty serious thunderstorms rumble thru between 2pm and 5pm--lots of lightning and a little wind but nothing serious.
Got another 1/2-3/4"" of rain out of it tho- -the place was just beginning to dry up too.

I saw a similar post this morning on a car forum. A member in Farmington Maine complaining the weather liars show his regional weather to be 34F-38F with rain and a chance of sleet tonight. His actual temp this morning was 72F.

I guess it could be worse tho..........

It has been reported that Obama has tried to control our weather. I am sure that is what he was doing.
