Why didn't Tesla come up with this. I'm so glad our energy crisis is now solved. Everyone grab your Kool Aid and lets have a toast to good old American liberal ingenuity. And who was it that said a liberal arts degree in prehistoric literature was a useless major.

I'd guess that ole Nikola probably did think of it and concluded it was a stupid idea...

My husband was working on a new construction site a number of years ago. They had a generator chained in the truck bed and a wet saw set up in the house. In the middle of a cut, saw stops, generator is out. Goes out to check it out and the generator was gone...
Doesn't take a bad economy to get people to steal...

:lol2: Yep, anyone with any formal liberal training would know solar panels mounted on the top of the vehicle is the answer.

BTW - is it true that people who drive Prius' don't even have to wait in line to vote? I've heard all they need do is pull into the parking lot and their vote is tallied. ;-)

Dang, Jo, I think you're on to somethin' good with those solar panels. :lol2:
I'll bet you could get a .gov grant for a couple billion to work out the R&D on that.
If you give me a seven figure salary, I'll come supervise your worker bees. :pretty:

I heard that rumour about the prius folks, too, but they mostly hang out in Boulder and I've been (self) banned from that city.

If I could get that grant the seven figure salary would be no problem as long as you agree to a lucrative bonus program and retirement plan and the planned golden parachute deal we will have in our employment contract with the government. The way I figure it, the sooner we deplete the grant money the sooner we will be able to stop filling out the mindless government forms. In the end we will have achieved the same end result had we been employed by DotGov for years. Of course, this would be contingent on your agreeing to work from your home since the DotGov likes this idea as it saves money and reduces your carbon footprint. We will of course reimburse you for your expenses of running your home office. Oh, and one last thing, you don't have any rare or endangered species or any sort of archaeological or historic sites in and around your home do you? If so, we will need to make arrangements for that as well. You might even be able to train these experts to feed your cattle while they are twiddling their thumbs.

I hate paperwork, could we figure out a way to spend it in just a year or so?
I think that would have to be stipulated in the contract as well. I'm good with the rest of it.
Since I already work from home (except for the whole job site deal), you think we would qualify for a little extra grant money, you know,
as like, a reward for an already, and thereby, further reduced carbon footprint?
Also, could I still flip houses as a side gig for a little extra pocket change? I know you promised the whole retirement plan thing, but you can never be too prepared for the total collapse of the whole .gov thing someday.

Your ability to budget your time and work efficiently is just why we need you on board. I'm sure we can find some way of rewarding you for already having an office on site. The carbon savings alone should be worth at least six figures. Flipping homes would be no problem but I wouldn't do it just yet. Just wait and see how you fair with our retirement plan. Ya see, unlike Martha Stewart, we won't go to jail for insider trading and we will take full advantage of our insider information. If some company comes up with a cure for cancer we will bet on the failure of the stock and while others pile their money in the company we can have a regulation passed by the FDA outlawing this cure and we will get filthy rich. When the economy collapses from our greed you can use your windfall to buy homes you want for a song. Keep in mind, you are now at the top of the food chain - albeit a parasitic one but at the top nonetheless.

Where's the PETA bumper sticker?

That's implied isn't it?

I have to get a PETA sticker....
This could be a deal breaker, Jo....

No you can't have a PETA sticker even if you want one. We have to remain neutral or at least have the appearance of being neutral as this appearance makes it easier for us to play both sides against the middle and insure our grant money isn't pulled. You will however be expected to donate to both parties or at least appear to support each without doing so in a way that is obvious to the other party. If we play this right we should be rubbing elbows with Warren Buffet in no time.

Okay, no PETA stickers and NO RAINBOW stickers. I'm back with ya.

I have to wait a few more days though, 'cause I'm awaiting that whole soul selling contract from the devil first. Apparently that one needs to be signed before I can proceed with yours :help:

Oh, and don't forget the pride thing. Need to make arrangements to have your pride stored somewhere till we suckle the funds down.
