I need a weedeater recomendation

Another vote for Round-Up and Echo. If you have very little weed eating, which I doubt since you have 3 weed eaters, the battery powered ones are significantly lighter. I use a battery powered one in my yard for the few areas I don't want to round up.

My favorite is Husqvarna. Stihls are good, but they are not as comfortable for me to use as the Husky. My Husqvarna did seem a little under powered compared to my Stihl, but after I drilled the holes out in the muffler and turned the high side up a little to give it more fuel the Husky is a weed eating beast.

Stihl here too, along with Barrier (glyphosate+imazpyr). (Just make benice sure you want what is there to die and don't ever want anything to grow there again)

I am on my 2nd Husky. I love it. I use it a lot and starts great every time. They are less than $200 to buy new, so when they give you major issues, you just trash them.

I also have a Stihl, and like it, but while I don't have any experience with them I've also heard that Echo is a good alternative and lighter weight.

I have had good service out of my Honda, might a little heavy for her though. Mine has the bicycle bars and it is slightly heavier than a FS 81 Sthil.

Saw a thing the other day where a guy was using zip ties instead of weedeater string. Said they worked great.

I've always ran a Stihl. I got 3 kids, so I got 3 weedeaters. One weedeater has bit the dust. I've worked on it all I can. They get $70 an hour at the saw shop. I'm just not payin it. What do yaw use?

I second this. Stihl with metal blades is a ruthless combo on weeds, briars, saplings, etc.

I third this. If your blade is like mine just make sure you put it on the right way. Doesn't cut too good if you put it on backwards. One of my most used tools. And it always cranks and runs. Another tip I'm sure you all already know. Use conventional gas with no ethanol and Stihl brand oil.

Skill is a brand of circular saw. A 10" carbide tipped 60t miter saw blade is the ticket on a Stihl pole saw. Once you get it spinning, it'll cut about anything.
NECowboy this is more than you can handle. Because I don't think kelvar chaps will stop the blade.
