I've always ran a Stihl. I got 3 kids, so I got 3 weedeaters. One weedeater has bit the dust. I've worked on it all I can. They get $70 an hour at the saw shop. I'm just not payin it. What do yaw use?

No need to look further than the brand you've been using.

Left out a key component. My daughter is about the gimpyiest child I ever saw. Arms like toothpicks. I need something lighter.

I like Stihl, and run Stihl. I'm afraid the quality may have dropped of in the last few years.

Best one I found is liquid

I bought an Echo weed eater years ago, from a shop close by that carried Echo brand. It is light is mainly what I liked about it, and it has held up good, have only had to replace a primer bulb. I would guess that Stihl is about as good of a brand that is readily available, I bought a chainsaw of that brand, a few years ago.
On a side note spraying Roundup is my method of choice for weed eating.

I have a black and decker cordless that runs for about half hour straight per lithium ion battery that has plenty of power. It uses .065 trimmer cord and you can turn it to edge also. I like it cause it's light weight and you don't have to fool with gas. Then again I only trim here at home. If we lived in the country I would probably weed eat around the house but spray roundup outside of barn or any outbuildings. Got my weed eater for about 120 bucks at menards

I have an Echo model SPM 230S. I use it for my work with the rural water system, a lot of places too small to haul a mower but still a lot of grass to cut. I've had it for nine years, it's a good one, but heavy. I also have a Stihl FS45C, it's a lot lighter and runs great too. Can't go wrong with either make of weedeater.

I got the best value B&D bent shaft for my mom and I love it. Cheapest weed eater I ever worried about but it's perfect for what I'm doing.
