Phone rings so I go answer it.
On the other end is this young (20ish?) sounding girl.
She immediately starts saying blah blah blah blah blah works on your place blah blah blah.
I thunks to myself, OK, this has something to do with the farm. So I say, who is this?
She says "I'm his girlfriend. Blah blah blah."
Now since I don't have a girlfriend and neither does my son, I'm starting to get cornfused, so I say OK(?).
She then says her and Darryl (I don't have a clue who Darryl is) have been dating and he was supposed to move in with her, but then he said he didn't want to and she hadn't talked to him in a few days and since I was Darryl's boss she wanted to know when he was at work last.
I told her I didn't know anybody named Darryl.
She hung up.
So the way I figure it, some guy named Darryl was "working" this girl and I have totally blown his cover story out of the water.
Oh well, just goes to show you never know what's coming next.
