I have wrassled for over an hour getting u joint bearing out of a 25 year old Rhino PTO shaft.
Had one of those couplers that you twist with the ball bearings that locks on the PTO. After 25 years the bearings fell out.

Sounds like the Rhino is the old one.

Get a new U joint in and you may not need another.......that is starting to be my thinking on some of this junk.

Cut u - joints out with a torch, in couple of minutes and your done.
