HT elec fence question.

greybeard: I know you picked up the porcelain insulators to resolve you temporary fence issue, but here is something you might want to consider for use in the future. Kencove Fence Co. still sells the "insultube" for 12.5 gauge wire. Insultube is just heavy plastic tubing.....just cut to length and run your wire through it. Although they say it is not recommended for insulating corner posts, it will work as long as you don't stretch wires "banjo" tight and it is great for many other uses where you want to insulate the hot wire from ground. I just ordered some more the other day.....$18.50 for 100 foot - catalog #G10 on page 25 . Also Kencove sells a real good fiberglass reinforced plastic corner "bull nose" insulator...$0.85 each - catalog #14UW on page 29.

Here is the link to the Kencove online catalog: http://www.kencove.com/fence/Assets/cat ... index.html
