I'm new to the cattle business (was thrown into it after my father-in-law passed away) and I was wondering how they catagorize cattle by the numbers. I hear "she's a 6.5" or something to that affect and my head spins around on my shoulders like a top and I have this far away glazed look on my face. Guys probably say" look at this dummy, he doesn't even know what I'm talking about". I want to stop that glazed look and at least know what the're saying. Besides, my heads starting to hurt from all that spinning.

Thanks for any input

frame score is from 1-9 with 1 being a short small cow & a 9 being a tall long cow. most cows run between 5 & 7. body codition score on average should be around 5 or 6. 6.5 would be a fat cow in my book . lower numbers are thinner

I actually married a beautiful lady who's family on mothers side is from Flatonia but I do like them Bulldogs and really love High School football.
I see your from South Texas. Can't be too bad of a guy or mamn if your from anywhere in Texas.

Well, I won't be winning any spelling bee's. Where's the dictionary?????
