Hoff First Edition

Help Support CattleToday:

Why would he need more IMF? In a perfect but let's be serious no bull has it all. If he does, his weakness hasn't been discovered yet.

More IMF, less muscle. For the most part.

Imagine all of the traits in a circle, these traits are balanced. But as soon as you want to have more of one trait you must move the circle. Moving the circle is going to make weakness in another area.

I thought that some of you may be interested to know that a yrlg son of Hoff First Edition 058 242was one of the top sellers at the Scotch Cap Spring Bull Sale on April 11. This was the only bull from First Edition born at Scotch Cap Ranch in 2005.

Lot 31–Hoff Magnify SC 1321 315, 2-15-05 bull by Hoff First Edition 058 242. for $22,000, one-half interest.

Congratulations, no bad for a bull that could use more IMF. HA HA!

A breeding program will take care of the shortfalls, shoot for the middle and all will be alright.

Congratulations La. Did Hoff's breed more cows to him last year?? I hope so for your sake? If not you can say that his sons have averaged $22000 at auction.

Heck, JS, that was 1/2 interest, couldn't we say $44,000?

mtnman, I didn't know you were a sale manager in your spare time.

That old trick makes me chuckle every time.
