5 1/2 inches last week. Over 8 inches this week. Yes I am indeed bragging this time. Bring on some more. Life is good.
 
Still waiting patiently for some to cross the border out of central OK. Finished planting my winter pasture and could use an inch to make it grow. I want to see these radishes and turnips pop out of the ground.
 
up here outside of Kansas City 7:50 in the morning no rain yet. Moving slow could use 1-2 inches of rain.

:???: You mean an inch of rain will make runoff? We just got thru having a nice shower run thru (I think it got lost and I accidently hit me) that now gives us 2.5 inches for 3 days. Had a trickle comming off the road into the creek but nothing running in the pastures to the waterholes.

Been a nice long soak. I'm probably not any drier than those that got over 10 inches and I didn't get washed out. Makes me wish I had some oats in but I imagine by next week we will be begging for some more rain. Especially if the winds pick back up and of course I doubt the 90 degree days are going to break anytime soon. Sure going to look for an opportunity now.

you got to remember we have NO FLAT LAND you can p in a drought and it will run off a little ways at least

remember don't p in the wind or when facing up hill :nod:
 
finally a steady rain has started 12:30 dosen't look like were going to get to much. any rain is good rain getting those winter pastures ready.

you also got to remember we ain't got dirt we just got rocks and smaller rocks and bigger rocks and then we have big ol rocks
no dirt = no dust :lol:
 
Somehow I knew you were going to tell me you farm on a rock slide... :lol: We made it all the way to 2.8 inches. Now we can start wondering when the next rain will come. :(
 
Started here around noon Thursday and has continued fairly steadily through this morning. Have just over 4.1" in the guage so far with almost no runoff. We've been extremely fortunate here so far this year, only about 2" below normal. My brother's place, 15 miles away, hasn't been so lucky but he finally got this one. Helped out the new pond quite a bit.
