Herefords

txag,

How is the cow bred? How old?
What AI sires are you using in your herd?
Wonderful pair, what we all should be striving for.
You should be proud, and maybe teach a class on hereford genetics. Cattle like that dont happen on accident.

Nice cow though.

the cow was nine years old in the pic & her dam was a 103T daughter which makes this cow (gasp) a Vindicator great-granddaughter . we use both "popular" a.i. sires as well as some of the old tried & true.

i didn't know there was a requirement of posting a current pic? ;-) Camp can vouch that we still have grass that tall in some places......problem is, it's browner than that. :(

Yes mam your pasture management is almost as good as your herd management. Just tell me where to ship the bahia seed and we will have on top of the game all the way around. ;-)
I will take some pics next week of cows standing knee deep in Texas grass.

I will keep an eye out for all the terrible prolapse problems as that new bull is a Vindicator desendant.

 herefords are my very favorite  Such a nice
cow- calf pair! We are in the process of putting together
a small herd of top notch herefords.

txag and Camp,

I commend you both for having the ability to see the value in this pair.

I like 'em and, "I don't Like Nuthin"!

Like I said great looking pair. She has a few years left on her.
Although the weather you way is making cows and people both look old...
Again thanks for sharing.
